The Bainbridge Island Public Library has a large meeting room available for rent by both business and non-profit organizations. The room is equipped with both a PA system and hearing assistive technology (a hearing loop). The Main Library Meeting Room features seating for up to 80 in chairs, 60 at tables with chairs, or 102 standing. 100 chairs and 7 tables are available. It has an automatic screen and a digital LCD projector. The room also has a sink. Coffee pot is not provided. There is free wireless internet access. Restrooms are in the library lobby. Rental fee is $50.00 per hour, with a minimum of two (2) hours use. A $50.00 non-refundable application fee which is applied toward the room rental is required with the application. There is a refundable key/custodial/damage deposit of $60.00 if the rental is to occur when the library is closed. To read the meeting room rental policy, click here. If your need is only for a small meeting space with no accessories, the library has two small rooms downstairs which are available on a first-come first-serve basis. One meeting room is suitable for 1-5 people and the VIP (Visually Impaired Persons) room is suitable for 1-2 people.
