Paul Heys - Personal Finance
Bainbridge Island author, Paul Heys, has penned a guide to
making sure that your spending decisions will have positive long-term
consequences. A former Air Force officer, pilot, financial advisor, CEO and
founding direction of a commercial bank, Hey’s careers have positioned him to
study the psychology of spending and investing. His book,
Spending Your Way to Wealth, outlines
spending habits that can have everlasting impacts over time. He notes,
"Spending can be the cause of wealth or spending can be the cause of wealth
forfeiture and regret.” He suggests we take the time to understand the
opportunities and risks that come with each spending decision. Heys warns that
"stress and anxieties can be both real and imagined. In either case, we need to
try and understand how our natural impulses may cause us to behave.” You can follow Heys at his website,
investorship.com, His book is now available in print and as an
eBook at various national outlets and can be found at Eagle Harbor
Books.
