Judith Weinstock – Cookbook, Local Interest
After leaving the Streamliner Diner in 1991, Susan Weinstock went on to open the Kingston Hotel Cafe. Her recipes from this bistro are collected in the Kingston Hotel Cafe Cookbook: Free-Spirited Recipes to Warm the Soul. Frontier magazine has this to say about the book: “Chef Judith Weinstock shares her cafe's secrets in the Kingston Hotel Cafe Cookbook. A delicious read, the cookbook makes your mouth water not only for a fresh raspberry omelet with orange-blossom cream cheese but also for a long walk with berries an arm's length away. This is a cookbook you'll want to retreat with, preferably to a well-stocked kitchen.”
