Cal Woolley

Alan "Cal" Woolley, 70, of Bainbridge Island died Dec. 6, 1998, at his home. He was born Aug. 13, 1928, in Eugene, Oregon. He was raised there, later attending the University of Portland.

Mr. Woolley worked as a marine engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where he directed maintenance of the Western dredge fleet. He was also an accomplished artist and teacher.
