Alison Whiteman - Journalism
Alison Whiteman was sixteen when she landed her first job as a reporter. She has since written feature stories for The Colorado Springs Sun, The Eatonville Dispatch, The Tacoma Weekly, the Puyallup Tribal News, and she was lead reporter for the independent The Tacoma Reporter. Since coming to Bainbridge Island Whiteman has volunteered at the island’s history museum and she is currently working on a book about public housing. As a breast cancer patient, she is also blogging about "The History of Boobs” and says she enjoys the humorous stories about this subject. |
