Tommy Walker - Autobiography
Tommy Walker's Monstrous: The Autobiography of a Serial Killer but for the Grace of God (2002) is probably not a book for the average reader. In this unflinching story Walker looks back on his years growing up, the feelings of rejection and loneliness of those years, and his consequent turn toward sordid sexual fantasies as an outlet for his anxieties. Walker runs away from home once he is old enough and things get a lot worse but he eventually he manages to pull himself together. One reader says about the book: "A maelstrom of a journey through an emotional hellfire of ebonite isolation and self-hatred, yet ending with the joy of finding love, and oneself. Not to be missed."
